1. Manufacturing Services

Sinister Printworks LLC (“Sinister Printworks”) provides on-demand 3D printing and manufacturing services. We produce physical objects from digital design files submitted by customers. We do not design, engineer, or validate customer designs for structural integrity, safety, or fitness for any particular purpose.

2. All Sales Are Final

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NO REFUNDS, RETURNS, OR EXCHANGES.

Because every item is custom-manufactured to order from customer-supplied design files, all sales are final upon payment. Sinister Printworks does not accept returns, issue refunds, or process exchanges except in the sole instance of a verified manufacturing defect (e.g., print failure, incorrect material used, layer delamination caused by equipment malfunction) reported within seven (7) business days of delivery with photographic evidence.

In the event of a verified manufacturing defect, Sinister Printworks may, at its sole discretion, reprint the item or issue a refund for the affected item only. Design errors, dimensional inaccuracies in the submitted file, or dissatisfaction with the inherent characteristics of the selected material or printing technology do not constitute manufacturing defects.

3. No Warranty

SINISTER PRINTWORKS PROVIDES NO WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.

Sinister Printworks does not design or engineer the parts it manufactures. All designs are created by and submitted by the customer. The customer bears full responsibility for ensuring that designs are structurally sound, dimensionally accurate, and suitable for their intended purpose. Sinister Printworks is not liable for part breakage, failure, or unsuitability after delivery.

3D printed parts are subject to the inherent material and process limitations of additive manufacturing, including but not limited to: layer adhesion characteristics, anisotropic strength properties, surface finish artifacts, dimensional tolerances, and thermal deformation. These are normal characteristics of 3D printing and do not constitute defects.

4. Package Insurance

Customers may elect to purchase optional package insurance during checkout to protect against damage occurring during transit. Package insurance covers physical damage to the manufactured item that occurs between dispatch from Sinister Printworks and delivery to the customer’s address.

If a package-insured item arrives damaged, the customer must report the damage within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence of both the packaging and the damaged item. Approved claims will be fulfilled by reprinting and reshipping the item at no additional charge. Package insurance does not cover items lost by the carrier, items damaged after delivery, or items that were inherently fragile due to the customer’s design.

Without package insurance, Sinister Printworks is not responsible for damage occurring during transit. Once a package is handed to the shipping carrier, risk of loss transfers to the customer.

5. Intellectual Property

By uploading a file, you certify that you own the rights or have obtained all necessary licenses and permissions to manufacture the object. Sinister Printworks does not claim ownership of customer files. Files are deleted from our servers 30 days after order completion. See our full Intellectual Property Disclaimer for complete details.

6. Prohibited Items

We do not manufacture:

• Firearm components, receivers, or regulated weapon parts
• Suppressors or silencer components
• Keys, lock-picking tools, or security bypass devices
• Known counterfeit or trademark-infringing products
• Obscene or illegal material
• Drug paraphernalia
• Items intended for life-critical applications without engineering certification

Sinister Printworks reserves the right to refuse any order at its sole discretion.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SINISTER PRINTWORKS’ TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC ORDER GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. IN NO EVENT SHALL SINISTER PRINTWORKS BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

8. Confidentiality Agreement

Customers requiring confidential manufacturing may purchase an optional Confidentiality Agreement (NDA) starting at $100. The NDA binds both parties to strict confidentiality regarding the project. See the NDA page for full terms and pricing.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Kansas. Any disputes shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Geary County, Kansas.
