Junction City, Kansas
Built by
a soldier.
Sinister Printworks is a hand-tuned manufacturing forge in Junction City, Kansas. The owner is an active-duty Army Warrant Officer with over a decade of service, and every job gets the same discipline the Army taught: hand-tuned setup, materials chosen for the application, and one standard for everything that leaves the forge.

What we run
Three lines. One forge.
FDM
Filament, standard to engineering grade
PLA and PETG are the workhorses: clean surface finish and reliable dimensional accuracy for prototypes and everyday parts. When a bracket holds a load or a part lives outdoors, we step up to PET-CF, ABS-CF, ASA, and ABS at plus or minus 0.2mm.
Resin
Down to the micron
0.05mm layer heights and 14K LCD resolution capture surface detail invisible to FDM. Miniatures, jewelry masters, dental models, and anything where finish is everything.
The printing policy
You bring the file. We bring the fidelity.
For 3D printing, you bring the STL or 3MF. A CAD file you built, a scan you commissioned, or a file off a sharing site. We do not model, design, draw, or reverse-engineer. Geometry is your responsibility; print fidelity is ours. The Ember Woodworks line runs its own flow: boards are configured in the board builder, not uploaded.
Every material. One standard.
Materials are selected for the job, not for the aisle. Every polymer is chosen for its fitness to the application.
Hand-tuned, every job.
The owner personally dials in slicing parameters and mechanical fit for every project before anything runs.
No scripts. No shortcuts.
No automation without oversight. Maximum quality on the material that is right for your job.
Standards the Army taught.
Discipline and technical precision carried straight from a decade of service into every part that leaves the forge.
Ready when you are.
