Spirit of the Wandering Flame
An ethereal spirit figure with trails of orange sparks, translucent body with a molten core visible.
When The Spark's flame grows strong enough to burn without a hand to hold it, something remarkable occurs, the fire detaches from the body entirely, swirling around its keeper in trails of orange and gold. The physical form becomes translucent, revealing a molten core pulsing within. The Spark has become something more: an Ember Wisp.
Ember Wisps are ethereal beings, half-spirit and half-flame, drifting through the forge corridors like living lanterns. They leave trails of sparks wherever they pass, and the forge walls glow warmer in their presence. Other forge creatures are drawn to them instinctively, moths to a flame that promises warmth rather than destruction.
The forge spirits no longer merely acknowledge the Ember Wisp, they are curious. They whisper secrets of metallurgy in the crackling of nearby fires, and the Wisp begins to understand the language of heat and transformation.
